yes, they railroaded themselves or allowed them selves to be erroneously railroaded into blaming an unknown person in a green charger and came to find out it was Lacy . . . and that’s probably 99% of the story

The gold truck was already going "slow" because he & the driver who were hit were obeying the speed limit. He also happens to be the only person I believe in this whole mess.

That’s my point. I don’t think they were trying to get him or frame him or whatever. I was saying they would have to be to continue pushing it if he really wasn’t the cause. My point is the really believe it was his fault, regardless of who he was. Otherwise they would have shifted to the white car as the initiator, if the body of evidence pointed that way. If that was really the case, then there would be no other explanation for continuing to blame the green charger. Other than ill intent.

My argument is the police truly believe the green charger was the initiator after looking at all the evidence, because they have no real motivation to blame anyone else other than who they think.

I still think we the public doesn’t have enough of the facts to draw a conclusion and we should all wait as this plays out to form concrete opinions.

Copy all! Thanks for the thouhtful posts.
Does this put to bed the argument that the state police went after Lacy out of racism as a motive?

Also i still think people would be better off getting more common vehicles. Less likely to be a target or easily remembered/IDd.

I don't even think this is about racism by the cops per say at this point. The police allowed themselves to get caught up in their own trap. Not due to racism, but simply making the wrong assumption & doing everything they could to prove that wrong assumption correct even when they should have taken a step back & realized they were barking up the wrong tree.

The bigger problem is people such as have done in this very thread of crucifying this guy on social media with no proof of his guilt. In this case as in way too many cases since the advent of social media, The police allowed the anger of the public to feed into their incorrect narrative & drive it further than it should have gone. The public in general, including posters on this very thread, came to evil minded conclusions against this man with zero technical, or visual evidence to show what occurred. Justice for Mr. Hall & The driver of the car which was struck is a big hefty settlement against funyun lady for causing & assuring this accident occurred.

Justice for Kyren Lacy's family is having his name cleared & an apology from the state police & the people who couldn't help but pile on this guy & judge him guilty without any information other than what they were spoon fed. Of course his family won't get either one because of the idiotic society we live in where the people who say the most evil things & lie about their brothers & sisters never have to be held to account. But one day they will.

what would you say is the cutoff for being back in own lane to be deemed as not causing an accident, in this case it seems he was back at 75 yards, aka… 2.5 seconds…. i know different people have different thresholds of risk, would 1.5 seconds still be “safe” or might that start to affect some drivers who dont have faith the car would get back to lose the chicken game and swerve?

Ooops, hot off the press from ryan clark:

In full transparency y’all, I knew Kyren Lacy personally. But nothing matters to me more than the truth. I always strive to do my best to mix authenticity with the most complete and up-to-date information available,” the former NFL defensive back said. “I failed to do that on Monday night based on the subsequent evidence that has been released by the Louisiana State Police Department.

“I set the highest standards of fairness, and most importantly, righteousness in my work. I didn’t meet that standard.”

P.s. would it be nice if they went back to 'journalists' being objective and not having favorite teams? ...sep. thread clearly, sorry.
