Is it me or do we always seem to lose to Georgia State in basketball? Even when they are not good.

Just when I start to get excited about Cajun basketball again _♂️
So I get out the restaurant and hear on the radio “Cajuns down by 22”…
This is definitely not what I expected tonight
I thought Bob couldn’t beat GSU. Guess it’s actually the Cajuns that can’t.
Bigger, stronger, faster usually wins, as is the case tonight. Turned it on when I got home, the team in black hasn’t quit, but Cajuns getting taken to the woodshed.
And I hope whoever thought the Mario ring was a good idea for basketball
has nightmares with that freaking bell going off.
Only 8 turnovers, finished +4.
But Georgia State shoots 52.5% and out rebounded Cajuns by 14.
And Cajuns shoot 6-30 from 3. Live by the 3, die by the 3 tonight.

Coach Z said in post game that we settled for too many threes. Early in the game many of those were good looks. I guess his main point is you could get those shots later in the possession if need be. Going 6 for 30 is a recipe for a blowout. Many of those misses bounce long and result in fast break opportunities for the opponent. We also could not match up with their bigs and were dominated on glass again. If you listened to our podcast earlier in the week, we mentioned that their record was not necessarily a reason for optimism as one of their strengths is definitely our weakness.
Oh no! We suck again!!! We’re like the Mud Dogs without Bobby Boucher.
