It is not a bad shot as so many analysts think if you shoot it properly. We actually got people open for 10 footers near lane with some off ball screens and guys took them with confidence. Mo from Morocco winning game with a 15 footer was not on my bingo card. Propably longest shot he has made all season.

CONWAY, S.C.- A late 10-0 run capped off a second half win for the Louisiana men's basketball team on Thursday at Coastal Carolina. The Cajuns, who trailed by as many as 13 in the second half, earned their first win under interim head coach Derrick Zimmerman 71-68 to move to 2-0 in Sun Belt Conference action.

Yep, he thought about for a second or two before pulling the trigger!

Michael Thompson needs to get more mins and shoot more. My only negative about him is his propensity to dribble too much. He and Mo are our most dependable offensive players.

If Garnett can regain his 3 pt shot, we'll be a problem for our conference mates. His % from the 3 has to be way off his career average.

The Cajuns are now 2-0 in league play and 4-10 overall, thanks to outscoring the Chanticleers 10-1 over the final 4:21 of the game.

The win is the first for interim head coach Derrick Zimmerman.
