I see it more akin to not creating a Championship Banner because the head coach changed schools.

    Petty.
He chose to leave, now he should move on.

    Reality.

    Why pretend to change history?

Its about what actually happened not where they are currently located.

I think they prefered to recongize the guys who stay committed to the program and not include a guy on another team. Nowhere close to "changing history" but go ahead with that narrative.

Obviously,, and it makes sense that, that is the explanation.

Still, the program needs to be bigger than P&V.

It is petty and vindictive and no matter how many claim it's not "changing history" it remains that not recognizing history accurately on purpose, is changing history.

Or maybe they are not allowed to include a player of another team or their social media account?

I wonder if there is anything that prohibits the university from using images of an athlete in marketing material who is no longer enrolled.

There may not be with the NIL “rules” yet, but you can damn well bet some trial lawyer will convince a tranferree to file a suit against his previous university should they use his “image” as a way to promote the program…such as pictures of All Conference, etc players.

I guess I can get his viewpoint but he gave less than stellar effort in the Conference Championship game, didn't play in the bowl game and then is leaving for a better opportunity. How can he expect us to still promote his accomplishment as we are promoting team players? Dude, you leave us high and dry we owe you nothing!
