Anyone catch USC nearly screwed the pooch receiving the kickoff after the Aggies went up 17-7?

Returner caught the ball in the end zone, and in one motion let it fall to the turf and ran off. A teammate smartly ran over before an Aggie got to it and took a knee. The tell it was in play, the whistle sounded to call the play dead after the USC player took a knee with the ball. No whistle before.

Didn't feel like starting a whole thread for this. Army goes on a 21 play/12 minute drive to increase their lead to 21-3 over Tech. One play before the TD was the 2 minute warning. That warranted a commercial break. After the TD, commercial break. After the kickoff, commercial break. First play after commercial break, injured Bulldog. Commercial break. No excuses but our administrators have their work cut out for them in terms of increasing attendance. The modern game is fully built to be enjoyed from your couch instead of in the stands.
