I think we can both agree that what happened today should NEVER happen in any sport (getting out attended in our own house). On the plus side, I saw a few faces at the Dome today I haven’t seen in a while. Not nearly enough though. Look forward to meeting you at a game this season. Geaux Cajuns.

I appreciate Zimmerman‘s professionalism in post game. Not nearly the worst we’ve seen, but officiating is inconsistent at best. Team Joe Charles deserved to win that game. Will Wade is still an ass.

Idk if it was just me, but it seemed like Mcneese guards were getting away with using their arms(pushin off) to create seperation that wasnt called once.

They got away with a lot of ____. Hooking, traveling, pushing off, elbows everything. But he if they don’t call it why would they stop? Proud of the effort from the boys. We had a lot of shots on point that just rimmed out. Make a few of those and it’s a different game maybe. Merry Christmas to everyone except for will wade and his fupa.

I’m with you man. I was hoping for better as well.

McNeese is how I know it can happen here though. I grew up in Lake Charles, and my dad took me to several UL/McNeese basketball games in LC where Cajuns fans outnumbered Cowboys fans. I never thought on our worst day it would happen to us, but here we are. If LC (who collectively forgot McNeese had a basketball program for about 20+ years) can get behind get behind McNeese though, nobody can convince me it’s impossible here.

McNeese leaned straight into Will Wade's controversy and said "f--- it, nobody pays attention to us anyway". I mean they call him a "gangsta" in the official personnel press packet. They went viral with their marketing/promotion and coupled it with some very important early wins against big-name teams.

Hopefully our admin realizes we are equally as unimportant on the national stage and lets some people run wild with promotion
