I’m shocked, felt he was going to be allowed to finish the season, but he was a dead man walking.

From anyone in this situation in the manager/employee roles, there’s never a good day to get canned.

It needed to be done. I just didn't think we would ever muster the balls to do it in season. I wish all the best to coach in the future but it was best for both parties to go separate ways at this point.
