    Wiki is wacky.

    Year zero is year one.

The clock does not start after you turn one. Your first year was year 0.

We went through this with Y2K

You proved my point. The first year cannot be zero. Zero is nothing. A year didn’t exist until the first year was done. This was brought up in the media at the end of 2000, 2001 was the actual scientific start of the new century.

The century started in 2000. Its how we count.

Year zero is the first year.

A whole number indicates a completed year.

Just because a baby hasn't turned one yet, they are smack dab in year one and any events that happen in their first year must be counted as part of their life.

The whole number reflects what is completely completed, not where you are in the stream of time.

A marriage does not start after the first anniversary.

A zero year such as 2000 is the beginning of the Century.

The mistake is believing the Romans got year one right and forgetting how numbers are actually counted.

I’ve never seen anyone celebrate a zero anniversary. Babies for example are dated by months until they complete the first year. With your logic, when my mom turns 99, she’s actually lived a century, because she had year zero.

Besides, the US military disagrees with you.

None of this matters. Maggard will make a great hire. But will the choice be accepted by all? 100% guaranteed no. lol.

The Romans didn't have a zero in there numerical system and thus couldn't express a year in the making.

Simple truth is a year in the making is not a completed year.

Anniversaries, birth dates and your age have it right.

    Calendar years have it wrong.

They are contained in what Jay has described as Maggards criteria. That’s what’s important.

This MUST be a joke. If not, just wow.
