The timing makes me think Marlin wanted no part of the game on Sunday.

From a nation wide coaching search standpoint, I think this midseason awareness will generate the most interest.

Please interview Brock Morris current Asst Oklahoma, prior Asst Ole Miss, prior UL asst and prior HC at JUCO level.

Teams usually win the first game with the interim coach. Hope we continue that trend.

Free at last, Free at last....Losing has consequences, losing local players to the portal to a conference opponet and another to your rival brings about alot of questions. My guess is that Maggard probably offered Bob a chance to resign/retire at the end of the year...Bob (And his wife was probably on cell listening) probably blew up and left Maggard no choice.

Was not expecting that Geaux Cajuns mobile app notification today. Glad we will begin a new era, but CBM deserves some grace. Thanks for the memories, coach.

Its prolly best not to hire anyone from the Marlin Era. I also like the coach from Furman, Bob Richey.

He wasn't fired on the phone. Maggard doesn't deal that way.
