I would not like Starks to man the program. If he is on staff, fine. But not as the head coach

I believe in Maggard to find the right guy. In reality it will most likely be someone we havent heard of and that may be a good thing.

Hopefully see you all on Sunday in the dome.
I think there will be an increase in attendance.. but being Christmas weekend, the increase (due to coaching change) may not be as big as it would have been if Marlin had been released two weeks ago or the week after Christmas.

Personally, I can't wait to be back in the Cajundome on Sunday! Unfortunately, a lot of other Cajun fans I know are either out of town or have holiday functions to attend.

But who knows? Maybe it being McNeese as the opponent will generate extra interest to make up for those who can't make it.

    GEAUX CAJUNS!!

Interestingly, I could not find any mention of Louisiana firing Marlin on ESPN. I would like to see the pub on national tv.

Agreed, we need a Dale Brown, dynamic type of character that gets out into river ranch and Brentwood handing out nets and pumping up the community with the ability to generate NIL funds and season tickets. He can hire Tex Winter type assistants for Xs and Os.

We renewed our season tickets for this year but had not attended a game yet... waiting for a change. We WILL begin attending again... just can't make it Sunday because of prior plans that were made before we knew of the coaching decision.

    Geaux Cajuns Basketball!

I took CAJUNSby90's advice and got 4 sets of flex tickets.
Actually a pretty good deal considering it's for 6 games and there's only 9 home games left.

    Thanks for the recommendation 90!

I hope he gets a fair shot to be on the staff. He would do great things as far as promotion and getting fans in the stands. He would be great for recruiting and fundraising as well. But is he ready to run a whole program? Not for me to decide. He is certainly motivated. The search should be interesting.

Attendance would go up if we hired Boyd. Everyone seems to love watching a clown show.

Does anyone know if there will be a stream or any way to watch Maggard's press conference at 11:30?
