These NIL Agents are working the system that has evolved. Coaches, schools, and donors have embraced NIL, to win at all costs. NIL created a market for "agents" to identify talent with value and find schools willing to invest because rules do not exist. Make calls, find the bag, hype the bag to the player, player transfers, make money. Some of the coaches complaining simply aren't sincere in their complaints, they just realize they don't have enough people to step up to fill bags and now they are upset.
The agents are just money grubbing grifters....and 77 thinks coaches are insincere with their complaints. Really?
If you're going to blame the agents then you also have to blame the coaches and universities who are also active participants. My point is there is plenty of blame to go around. I think a lot of people quit caring about a kid making a wrong decision in the era of NIL and it's simply win at all costs.
I agree with both posters here. These NIL agents are certainly grifters. The sentiment coming from some of the coaches (especially the P4 ones like 77) stated is laughable. I mean Brian Kelly complaining about it all being about the money? Really guy? Like we all forgot about the $5-6 million pay bump you got to leave Notre Dame?
