I think we had one field goal in the last 10 minutes of the game. Lots of trips to the FT line and shot pretty well. They closed it in last four minutes and hit a couple 3s after we missed open shots in last couple minutes. Refs called pretty good game until last few minutes and worked hard on helping App. Defense for the most part played well until very end. Thomas made shot that held off App with clock running down. It’s a win.

    Box score. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401714507

    Last 10 minutes

    1-7 FG
    12-14 FT

Making the freebies down the stretch key to the game.

If Mostapha could ever hit a perimeter shot it could signal a turnaround for the team. He is constantly looking to drive to basket and is having trouble finishing due to opponents contesting him strongly there. Hit a couple of jumpers and that lane will open up. At least he took a couple of perimeter shots tonight. Didn’t knock them down but at least he recognized what defense was giving.

Jamarcus gave Bob a wake-up call the other night.

I would have been tempted to, ask the same, question after a, win.

Then Marlin might give an X and O answer.

At least we know they are capable of winning.

The happiest person about this win has got to be Maggard. At some point, if the big losses had started piling up in consecutive fashion, he’d have had to make a change.

I'd say about 6-700 actual. It was the best of the year

Regular crowd was about the same. Biddy ballers added a couple hundred. The midweek last week had the sheriff’s office and fire department, so we got all those folks and their families in the door. This week biddy ball. Couple making every game “xyz night” to get groups in the door and potentially putting a worthwhile product on the floor in the future, and we could be on to something.
