Anyone has any updated news on BW and his status on playing? I have got to believe there has to be a drop-dead deadline where he can come back with enough practice time to be effective.

It would not surprise me if he's not set to begin practicing for TCU...since it was his off shoulder, we should all be confident he's a go.

While my younger self used to get irritated with the deletions of some posts, my wiser self completely understands why.

Any petty person willing to spend money to continue to be petty can pay some lawyer to write up a demand letter, whether reason for said demand has any real standing or not. Then, if you don’t meet that demand, they can pay the lawyer to file some minimal petition in civil court, which then you have to pay money out of your own pocket to file a response defending yourself.

Even if you win, you don’t get that money back.

In order for Turbine to allow this to be a free for all, he’d have to generate enough income via poster subscriptions and ad revenue where he can have his own attorney ready.

So can’t really blame him for wanting to keep certain folks off his back. From what I’ve been told and read on here, sounds like he’s already had to deal with such BS in the past.

Why spend the money? A nanny nanny boo boo will always leak things out.

I appreciate RP to being open. The only advantage of a pay wall would be it to minimize a person using different names talking to themselves.
