Lots care.
Soccer ratings on US TV are getting up there with NBA, MLB, and NHL games, and MLS just became the second highest attended domestic soccer league in the world.
But they just don’t care about college soccer.
Youth soccer in the US doesn’t funnel into high school and colleges like basketball, football, and baseball do. It funnels into academy and pro teams. If you’re a talented high school player, you’re already playing for an MLS team’s developmental program or you’re on a club team that plays against them. Once you turn 18, you’ll be playing professionally somewhere. If you’re a REALLY talented player, you’re probably already playing for a European academy or pro team.
That's correct Rebel.
We need to think outside the box a little. In this new age of NIL/portal, what about we form a partnership with a MLS club? Collegiate soccer programs would be smart to think of themselves as a developmental league for the MLS. Give us some of your young guys and we can offer them an education as well.

Golden opp to BECOME the Funnel
There is actually something like this being discussed behind the scenes.

Denver going to frozen four a few times while in sunbelt didnt really hype up sunbelt too much
More bang for your buck is women's crew, allotted a whopping 20 scholarships, get some "walkon" softball players to be on crew scholarship and play bith sports, probably good off season training too
