Ok, so what are you going way out of the way not to say? UL didn’t want that player, or that player didn’t want to come here. And you say it’s “political.” Why?

Both of those players would have loved to be Cajuns. I would have loved for that to happen also. I will not discuss why I feel that way. All I am saying is hopefully going forward the Cajuns truly get a fence around the state to get the better players before other schools do.
Not saying you aren’t accurate in your statements, but it seems like you may be to close to the situation and letting a little bias show.
They wanted to be Cajuns but UL “lost them”?
Seems like all the other perennial top 25 teams missed on them as well.
I think we all would love to have a fence around the area, particularly when it comes to one of our marquee sports. Sucks to lose them to a place as far away as that school. I’m obviously not as close as you are to the situation. However, generally speaking, it’s hard to predict sometimes how an 18 year old will react. Particularly with a new staff in place. Wish them both great success, and hopefully this staff will work hard to make sure we don’t lose out on someone like this in the future. Who knows, maybe they’ll transfer back?
I’m still confused, did these athletes choose other school or did UL not recruit them hard enough/ or at all?
