Latest example of a coach being stupid, Mike Collins, HC Neville football. Mouthed off (after getting beat by Central on a blocked FG return in the semis) on social media how Ruston was going to "beat the brakes" off of Central. State final Central 42, Ruston 0. Running clock the entire fourth quarter. Humbling on many fronts.

Let that be a lesson coaches. Stay off social media. And check your family too. Thank goodness internet and social media wasn't a thing when Cynthia was here. Bad enough she got in people's faces back then.

It had never happened before. And then it happened TWICE on Saturday…which was just the 2 Division 1 games (biggest schools, best of the best). One ended up 53-8 (Edna Karr over Alexandria) and the other 42-0 (Central-BR over Ruston).

I remember the days when the Cajundome would be rocking, and full of students before Marlin or Lee. If depth is a problem, then it's a problem of his making.
