2 regular season titles, 2 tournament titles, and 2 NCAA appearances in what, 14 years? Is that what constitutes as "a lot of success" in his book? I remember the days when the Cajundome would be rocking, and full of students before Marlin or Lee. If depth is a problem, then it's a problem of his making. This team may be lucky to get double digit wins.

Isn’t it 1 regular season title?

I got it off sports reference.com. No telling how accurate it is. I doubt most people would consider his time being "a lot of success" as he said in the interview. Nobody was going negative, just stating the facts.

This is looking like Jerry Baldwin reincarnated.

I blame Dr. Maggard for letting it get this far. It’s time to cut ties with Bob Marlin and breathe new life into the Cajundome.

Dr Maggard has made some great hires, but agree letting he and his wife's friendship with the Marlins getting in the way of what is best for the UL Basketball program is a huge mistake. He can make it right and hire the right person in 2025.
    It is time!!!!!
We all are ready to return the Cajun Dome, just not with Bob Marlin as Head Coach. The fan base is done with him. I sure hope Bob just resigns, saves face, and blames the new era of NIL or something as a way out so he can at least leave with some dignity and not go down this road he is going down.

This is starting to be very similar to the mentality of entitled politicians and their families who believe they should be above the peeblings no matter what. When it gets to that point, it's time to cut bait.
Yep. This is the problem with keeping someone around longer than they should have. It eventually leads to where we are now. A program in shambles.

The only question now is does Martin Hall even care?

Marlin should do like the Wake Forest football coach just did and retire in the interest of UL basketball and its fan base.

I am having a hard time believing Jenn would give up that buyout. She likes money.
