Coach Marlin’s narcissism was on full display. He even threw Coach Des and football team under the bus for losing the SBC Championship game with their 3rd string quarterback. He did it to Coach Napier during a press conference and now again. His inflated ego is fragile. When he’s frustrated, he will take others down too.

Coach Marlin needs to retire peacefully. The sooner he announces it, he will save himself and the school further embarrassment.

Latest example of a coach being stupid, Mike Collins, HC Neville football. Mouthed off (after getting beat by Central on a blocked FG return in the semis) on social media how Ruston was going to "beat the brakes" off of Central. State final Central 42, Ruston 0. Running clock the entire fourth quarter. Humbling on many fronts.

Let that be a lesson coaches. Stay off social media. And check your family too. Thank goodness internet and social media wasn't a thing when Cynthia was here. Bad enough she got in people's faces back then.

If has never been asked to put fans in the stands, so why would he assume that is what the question was asking.

After this many years, it is crystal clear that Marlin has supporters who have faith in his ability to bounce back.
