Hardaway is a national brand. He had major endorsements and his own shoe. Kids want to play for him. Nobody knows who brad Boyd is outside of Lafayette parish. Give me a freaking break.

So by that measure, any star with endorsement deals and a shoe will make a great coach? Give ME a break. And Memphis basketball is already a national brand. We arent.

Like I said earlier, if he wants to interview, then fine. If he's the best candidate, great. I got nothing against him. But I don't think he — or anyone — should just be handed the job. Which is what you and JMV seem to be wanting.

Well maybe at least know SOMETHING about him before disparaging him by saying he only coached middle school for over a decade, when that isn't even the case. And no one said we should just hand him the job. No one.

No offense to Brad, he’s an alum and a good coach. But if his resume is in the running for this job then I guess the program is beyond repair. Hiring Brad wouldn’t even sniff the questions surrounding the CMD hire.
