Louisiana men's basketball looks to start a winning streak as they welcome longtime rival Lamar to the Cajundome for a noon tip-off on Saturday.
Kentrell Garnett's three with 42 seconds left proved the difference in Louisiana's 68-61 win on Wednesday over Southeastern Louisiana. The Cajuns trailed by as many as 12 in the opening half before coming back to win and snap a seven-game losing streak. Kyndall Davis had a season-high 15 with five rebounds in the victory.
Lamar has won three straight after starting the season 1-5. The Cardinals opened Southland Conference play last week with a pair of road wins over Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and UTRVG, with the latter win coming by 32 points.
