I’d rather not have an annual outflow of talent.

Its already happened. And its going to happen EVERY December. Bottom line......do we get better or worse after theportal closes.

Last year was a HUGE net win for Des. Added several key players. Plus we got all poo-pooed when ZC left. That resulted in Ben returning and being the league's offensive MVP. This year with a massive QB commit has the potential to be an even bigger net win for Des et staff

I’d guess playing at the equivalent of a 1A school in Louisiana has something to do with it. Or maybe he didn’t hit the camp circuit in the summer, maybe ran 4.61 instead of 4.55. Who knows? He does have offers from Texas Tech, Oregon State and N. Texas

That said, that same school had a 5* recruit last year that went to Texas A&M.

I wouldn’t call it an outflow for our program. Unless others are called flood gates. After Billy left was an outflow. It’s been a trickle since. We’ve been one of the least portal out school in the country the last 2 years and this season is not terrible so far. Like was said, it’s going to happen.

Add another La Product, Matthew Fobbs-White is transfering out of Tulane. If I recal, UL was in the mix for him until the last week of recruiting...but I could be wrong

According to On 3, 1400 uncommitted players in the portal. There are enough QB's in there for every FBS school to have at least one new QB next season. TJ Finley is back in the portal. Seems like he's been around 6 or 7 years. This situation has gotten ridiculous.
