Best arm talent UL has ever had. He was already making the 15 yard outs and back shoulder throws in high school. He has enough mobility to be a threat. The only downside with this kid is that if he has a great year, he could immediately head back to a P4 team.
My first chance to reply to the thread. I'm excited that Walker is a Cajun now and I think most fans are. I would say though, it's like signing any recruit, it's all based on potential. He literally has no (ok a tiny bit) experience on the field. Actually, similar to Ben before he transferred to UL from Fresno St. It took a while for Ben to get to the player he became. Walker appears to have a higher ceiling but it's a wait and see what happens, at this point. Welcome aboard Walker, glad to have you as a Cajun QB.
