Right. So he was committed (old news jmv said), then did not sign, and now committed again?

He could not sign during the early signing period last week. Nobody intending to transfer that was in school during the fall semester and transferring to another school could sign last week as they could not officially enter the portal until Monday 12/9.

….I remember when Roy Henry transferred from Notre Dame……Don’t think there was this much excitement, but again the schools were St Aug and Notre Dame….not as much close profile…..I know he was happy to be with some home guys from Nola and that he could create a turnaround at UL…..well he did along with the Team! Some on here were his teammates and could give an anticipatory glimpse of Howard’s coming home!

It says the spring semester application deadline for transfer students was 30 nov. Did he apply prior to commit?

With new signings we still have at least 13 on team. Plus there's over 300 WR et TE in the portal just from FBS. And quickly expanding....safe to assume over 400 will happen soon. Assuming FCS has somewhere near 200....that is well over 500 WR/TE looking for a new home today. OVER 500. Likely over 600 by the time the portal closes.
