I find it shocking that the transfer of Walker Howard here has been met with very tepid response. I dont understand it. Thoughts?

He hasn't done anything at the D1 level yet.

I think it’s more optimistically cautious. We have had a ton of “big” signings who don’t do much.

I really like the signing but he hasn’t done much at college level to get superstar treatment. I do think he will be the likely starter but still cautious.

All valid points. I'm just thinking, with all that said, that there would have at least been a few posts and some excitement about a hometown product rated as high as he was, choosing to come home and play. Almost feels like there is some resentment among local fans towards kids who leave here to go play somewheres else. Especially LSU. I don't know. I'm excited about him coming here. Hope he sets the world on fire!

I'm not getting excited about anything CFB related until the transfer portal is closed (or we win the bowl game).

He had a chance to come here....twice. We are his third choice. Forgive me for not being overly excited about someone that hasn't really panned out with all the stars he got in high school.

He probably matured over last few years and ready to settle down at home. Hopefully Dez can get his best abilities out him. Overall, I'm glad
