I know we can't/ dont count 1 of them but we had 4 current NFL as starters on our 2019 line

    TCU had their OL intact
    Cajuns down 3 OL
    Rushing
    Cajuns 33-114 3.5
    TCU 33-110 3.3
    Sack
    Cajuns 2
    TCU 3
    Tfl
    Cajuns 6
    TCU 8

So either Cajuns defense wasn’t as bad as some here think or Cajuns OL held up pretty well considering.

Cajuns secondary is terrible in zone. And our WR/TE, which we know were depleted, had a terrible game collectively. QB’s weren’t good either.

3 of which were Hud recruits.

The best OL in the country can’t block more 5 players consistently. Go watch the Marshall defense after chandler went down. Let me know how often Marshall brought 6-7-8.

TE’s also block. We discussed a certain TE not looking to block much in the Marshall game.

Honestly. Is that why you were railing on softball for not signing 2 local recruits recently? It’s an educated guess to recruit anyone most of the time.

Just going by recruiting rankings, we have some good prospects coming in.

You do realize 53 of those 114 came on the last drive of the game when the dogs were called off.
So before last drive we were at 27 carries for 61 yards for 2.25 ypc

In other bowl news, the best player in the country and his team have less than 75 yards of offense against BYU in the middle of the 3rd. No one will remember, really, if they lose. Hunter has most of the yards, but you get it. They’re down 27-0.

Can’t wait for the NFL chop all these top flight guys that’s had the run of the roost. That’s the next evolution of NIL players, the tail will no longer wag the dog.

Our 3rd string vs theirs. Were they not trying to tackle?

While we had starters missing on the OL today, can we be honest, OL play has been inconsistent this season. Even if we had all of our starters, the outcome is still the same. We got beat in the trenches. Now the question is, is it a recruiting issue or is it a player development issue?

I agree with the OL part. I think week 7 we give TCU all they want. Unfortunately it’s week 14.
