A lot of good players in the portal who are looking for playing time and a home.

For every 1 that wants money, there is 1 who doesn’t. It will take a lot of work but that is the time we live in.

Sonny dikes just whipped us and he never played college football. What’s your point?

Pretty sure briles the OC didn’t play major college football either.

I'm saying do some research so that you don't make yourself look silly. You didn't even know Tim was a QB.

Take 3 starters out of any OL in the country and see how that goes. We have 3 OL in the pros right now and 2 of the 3 highest graded PFF In The league. Cajuns OL has always been a strength. at least for the last 20 years.

He’s in the portal supposedly if you’re alluding to McDowell. Dude was good for at least one unsportsmanlike call every game. Don’t know where he lands, good candidate for nowhere.

I don't understand you folks. We have one of the youngest head coaches in the country. After two 6-7 seasons, he gave us our fourth 10-win season in our history. We're in the most talent-rich state in the nation, and he is bringing us up precisely as several other schools in the state, those against whom we have to compete for recruits, are struggling.

He's up against several things. First, he's a new head coach. Second, he's very young. Third, he has to establish his own culture in the program.

And fourth, and this one is the most important to me, and I hope to many of you, from everything I can see he's trying to do it right. He is trying to build a clean program that gives our players an education, and turns them into men.

    No one gets it all.

No one gets most of it right away.

And above all of it, is the point I keep hammering on all the time. We want athletics, but unlike many of the schools against whom we compete, we don't have to have athletics. We are surging forward in academics. Athletics are a luxury.

And overall, considering our resources, I think we are doing damned well.

    Chill. The future looks beautiful.

    Happy New Year.

    I’ll bite.

You said we can’t lose local talent. Got 2 big prospects coming back. 1 from STM so we’re golden, right?

The unit as a whole wasn't very good this season. Don't kid yourself. I think we have 4 in the league and what does nfl success have to do with a weakness for the Cajuns this season?

I simply asked you what good players do we have coming. What you meant to say if we have two potentially good players coming. Remember potential means you haven't done anything yet.

First off, exactly…a unit that wasn’t dominant lost 3 starters pretty much the week of, hard to get continuity. Second, you said historically has been a weakness when in fact OL here, has been a strength judging by the guys currently In the NFL and we normally run it down peoples throat.
