On the question of NIL money going to retention… wouldn’t Carter and Broussard be high on the list to retain?
Carter looks the part of an NFL TE. Broussard is one of only two proven D1 receivers on next years roster.
I assume money went to our 2 RB, the OL. Don’t see anyone on defense who could command large sums of money.

I know he doesn’t like to, but I was Des I would try to buy a couple of DL in the portal. That is by far our weakest position and the most difficult to recruit out of HS.

Notice the pro teams with the best O Line and D Line are the ones that win the most.

Same for us. Those Hud and Napier years.. we had some absolute beasts in the trenches.
