Remember 25% of rostered FBS players in portal. Pride comes into play. Most are NOT going to a higher level, so expect lateral moves as a face saving move.

We, and IMO, justly feel our football program is on a higher level than Ark St.

These players really need to understand what they are doing. I know the coaches try to explain to the players the pros and cons of the portal. But alas, that PRIDE thing does come into play. I'll even say, most of the players in the portal are done with football. With the roster limits coming into play, there is more supply than demand.

As dinged up as Kobe is, should have hung it up after second surgery. He’ll be paying dues physically down the road.

We have almost doubled NIL money from last year recently with three donors that have never given a dime to UL prior. I am expecting more to be given soon.

This is great news. I wish there was more of an effort to make it known which local companies are supporting local. I know we shop at SuperOne over others specifically for the reason of them supporting the Cajuns. We often make decisions similar to this with other local businesses.
