I get it and I am in favor of his stance on this. But you gotta wonder if the mindset will change depending on the player in question's talent moving forward if players wanting to test the waters is the new norm.

But if you are waiting for X player, you may be missing on someone you need to fill that hole.

Evidently they think cash is greener on the other side of the fence, but don't realize it dies in the fall.
