I don't buy that one bit. Most diehard fans understand it is a business and the player may be doing what is best for themselves.
The problem most people have is players entering the portal and posting some big essay on social media. That is not adult behavior. With NIL money, this has now become a business/job. Adults in the real world do not post on social media when switching jobs. As someone posted online:
"I just want to thank all my coworkers, my mangers, and everyone at corporate of Super One for two great years. After much praying and careful consideration, I’ve decided to take a position at Albertson’s.”
…does that sound like normal adult behavior?
The only players posting a goodbye messages on social should be players graduating from here or leaving early to declare for the draft.
Take that uppercase/lowercase nonsense bACk tO rEdDiT.
Im curious, why didnt walker post a goodbye message to Ole Miss? Did he not appreciate his teammates and coaches?
What is not normal adult behavior is getting worked up over what kids post on social media.
Maybe if thousands of people followed George at Alberbertson's daily produce and floor cleaning stats, they would be ok with him posting as well.
Just seems like a strange thing to get ____ed about.
And I guess you do not do LinkedIn. Lots of change of position/company posts.
