Thread: Career Day from Garnett Not Enough as Cajuns Falls Tech

Really rough year ahead. Don’t see a team yet. Just players. None are consistent in a good way.
But hope springs eternal. The lights will click on, leaders will emerge, Hosanna will be miraculously healed, we’ll make threes and FTs.
    Amen.

Yes. There have been a few. The last time was 1994-1995 (Marty Fletcher, 7-22). The time before that was Jim Hatfield's first season (1975-1976, first year after Death Penalty, 7-19).

Yeah I named the wrong coach. Who was our coach after Jessie Evans? I said Errol Rodgers but he was women’s coach.

We had some long seasons under him

Get rid of this guy, he can’t coach up, and can’t recruit anymore, collecting a salary

Kentrell Garnett had a career afternoon for the Louisiana men's basketball team but it wasn't enough as the Cajuns fell to Louisiana Tech 69-58 on Sunday in the Cajundome.

Back to back games with career games for players and still can’t win against in state foes. Bad

While Marlin should be concentrating on building a well rounded team, it appears he is instead trying to establish another "go to" player.

Usually he identifies his "go to" player in the off season. Due to injury he is having to do it in-season.

Team play is the best way.

Anyone remember that 94-95 team? Yeah they didn’t win much, but the athleticism was off the charts. Kelvin Price, Chris Manuel, Barry Bowman, think maybe Reggie Poole and Bryan Collins.

They were young, but man those games were still fun to me.
