Reminds me a lot of the talk prior to our first New Orleans bowl. I very much remember SDSU saying they deserved a real opponent and it was a joke that they had to play us. Takes time to earn respect, but this is how you do it.

Uh, no. They are actually reptiles [Desert Horned Lizards]; though they are colloquially called Horned Toads. Stuff does come out of their eyes as a defense measure, though.

They also refer to themselves as the 'Fightin' Frogs.'

So none of it is accurate. But at least it's a unique mascot that reflects their region.

I can't make this one as this one is very far! Just out of my budget, but will be cheering watching and cheering hard for my Cajuns! Too bad we finally get a P4 and I can't make it. Hence is why I never minded Indy Bowl, NOLA Bowl, Mobile Bowl(lenders tree) etc. Just always needed a better opponent.
