It's not just the volume, it's Tuna's need to scream in the mic and the ridiculous 3rd down crap and other noise.
The best PA announcers are the ones you don't notice.

So wait…the PA announced didn’t say “and that’s another Louisiana…” and it was not as annoying. Tell me more.

Simply, the conference put a pro mike side and not a buffoon who thinks CF PA is his own personal circus..and I recall hearing the homer Simpson Who Hoo just s couple of times...

Stupid PA bastards also dialed up the Zeppelin song "When the leeve Breaks"during the App State game, forgetting all the Helena issues..

PA was neutral, SBC control. No cheerleading thou the bell tolled on 3rd down a few times but NO VOCALS.

The PA announcer has a boss. They must approve to allow it to happen. That is where the problem lies.

Ragin' Cajuns Re: Props to the PA flow

Whoever he was, he was light years better than our usual cheerleader posing as a PA announcer. The other points about volume and music selection/volume/timing were also a vast improvement.

Whoever hires the PA guy needs to watch the replay of Saturday's game, then tell our PA guy that THIS is what people have been asking for for years. He should also tell him to get with the program or go to the house.
