You might have found your answer. That is IF you even know what the question was to begin with. My question is why this team didn't come out ready in the 1st half followed up with why they didn't come out to play in the 2nd half either. And has anyone who has "inside connections" like so many here boast to have found out why? And will it be addressed, or is it that everyone caught the stomach flu at the same time? Merry Christmas & go Cajuns to you.
A wise coach told me years ago, when it comes to major disappointments in sports, be it loss, injury, replaced, little or no offers to next level, the players get over it. The moms and dad fail to take Elsa's advice...let it go.
Try to understand that a 6th year senior QB and good offensive play caller can figure out a way to move the ball through the air causing the defense to take players out of the box opening up the running game. The offense was constantly blocking more players than they used to block said players. Once the freshman entered the game Marshall had no reason to respect the pass game and kept 7-8 in the box and kept walking up a safety.
Also our defense has struggled at the LOS all season. We have a ball control offense and a bend don’t break defense that caused turnovers. Those things didn’t play out Saturday. I’m good moving on. I have my opinion and everyone else is entitled to theirs. Just don’t act like this team didn’t give effort or care as much about winning as Marshall did. That’s stupid talk.
