On that particular day, Marshall was better, deeper, healthier, more skilled, more prepared and luckier. Not saying every day, just when it counted Saturday.

No, I watched the paint dry on my house. I wouldn't have asked the questions IF there were none to ask. And quit blaming the freshman QB, like it was on him at all. Doesn't this team have any upper classmen to take it upon themselves to pick up the pace & realize when they're getting their butts handed to them served up on a skewer? UL got soundly whipped on all sides of the ball including special teams when you count our marvelous 20 yard punting average.
The fact that Fields got taken out the way he did should have been a hint that those guys were out for blood. Our guys were out for ice cream & a soda. from top to bottom inside & out these guys played like hot garbage. The only reason Marshall didn't score 70 is because they are incapable of scoring 70.
What effort? Even the punter didn't put out. Give it a rest & quit being such a suck up dude. It's obvious you don't care any more than anyone else. So quit with the relentless hypocrisy of oh the boys played their little itty bitty hearts out. They ain't boys at this point. And not any of them has to worry about picking their guts up off the field because they left them there on their shields. It didn't happen that way at all.
I can gladly say no. And it was barely watchable on television when compared the effort I saw from SMU who blasted back from a BIG deficit in Clemson's back yard only to lose a real heart breaker. The bottom line is this was a CHAMPIONSHIP game & the attitude necessary to play in it simply was NOT there.
So, my questions are: Does this coaching staff recognize this complete lack of effort? Do they think they can fix the lack of effort for their bowl game?
I’m ready for this clown to leave the bandwagon for good.
