As I said on a different thread , I think 10-2 bus 9-3, we will
Squeak by and out rank Marshall
In Massey most games from today are updated but not ours or Marshall for whatever reason.
As of this moment...
61 Louisiana
71 Marshall
I don't see how it's possible to jump us.
Live look at Sunbelt Officials making hosting calculations....
Hahaha
https://sunbeltsports.org/sports/201...-Breakers.aspx
HOST TIE BREAKER:
The following tie-breaker procedure is used to determine the host location for the Sun Belt Conference Football Championship game:
1. Head-to-head result between tied teams;
2. If still tied, if ONE team was ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings and wins in the final weekend of the Conference regular season, it will be declared the host. If in that same scenario, the team that was the highest-ranked team in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings loses in the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) will be used to determine the host.
3. If there are MULTIPLE teams ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings, the highest-ranked team that wins in the final weekend of the Conference regular season will be declared the host. If the highest ranked team loses, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend will be used to determine the division champion.
4. If none of the ranked teams win on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, will be used to determine the host;
5. If NO teams are ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings going into the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Masey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, will be used to determine the host;
6. If still tied, the team with the highest winning percentage against all common Conference opponents shall be the host;
7. If still tied, the team with the highest overall (Conference and non-Conference) winning percentage against FBS teams shall be the host;
8. If still tied, coin toss will be conducted by the Commissioner
It appears that #5 will be the first tiebreaker that will apply. If so, Cajuns are significantly ahead of Marshall in all 4 of those computer rankings going into the final week, so it's unlikely Marshall will pass them. If it's not #5, then #7 will apply, and the Cajuns win that one also.
Any chance the conference holds the stadium construction against us?
