I'm listening to Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York back from 1993 on vinyl and it got me thinking, how many of you have a vinyl collection and what are some of your recommendations?

Have a collection but haven’t had time to listen to any lately. Pick up lots at library sales & antique shops.
I have probably 40 or 50 from my college days(76-80). We made a weekly trip to Raccoon Records for the latest releases.
I’ve got a pretty decent collection. Haven’t bought much over the last year or so. Record prices are absurd at this point.
A few things that never make it too far away from the record player:
Bobby Bland - Dreamer
Merle Haggard - Going Where the Lonely Go
Bad Religion - Suffer
I have a little over 100 LP's.
Early Doobie Brothers, little river band, Chuck mangione, Maynard Ferguson, Gato barbieri, Styx,(grand illusion) , Buddy Rich, Billy Joel (2 half speed masters). I'm thinking I, a long with all the other guys my age, had a crush on Linda Rondstadt, Carla Bonoff and Carly Simon. Also, a half speed master of a live performance by Al Dimeola with John McLaughlin and Paco Delucia. (I paid 13.19 for it at Raccon Records). Several from Jimmy Buffet, Dan fogelberg and Randy Newman. Pat Metheny, Bob James and Earl Klugh.
I know I had Bostons debut album but I can't find it.
I still have a Philips turn table that I need to see if it still works. I couldn't afford the B&O tangential track job. I used an Ortophon needle with a disc tracker shock absorber. I had a disc washer set up to clean the record and a little pistol type device to eliminate static electricity. What we had to do just to listen to some music back then..
Oh yeah. Toto Aja and a couple of others and Alan Parsons Project
My first few albums were records when I was a youngster.
Grease, Whoodini, Doug E. Fresh, Journey - Frontiers.
I digitized all my LPs, 45s and cassettes. Including some ancient records from my grandmother. UL got the pick of the litter such as Caruso and local/cajun/zydeco like Happy Fats etc. Gave rest away.
