Also, what hasn’t really taken effect yet is roster limits, that will be in place for next season. Max 105 I believe.

Just looked at Houston. Gant went from 64 tackles to 16.

Zeon had 8 total TDs and 8 interceptions. Didn’t play every game.

    UH went 4-8.

ZC lost 3 fumbles too. To compare.....UL's total for entire team over all 12 games was 2.

This is the most overlooked part. Some schools will be dropping over 30 players to get under the limit. Those aren’t kids looking for a different spot but are being cut & forced into the portal.

It’s all about the $$$. None of that spells TEAM.

He also had to have surgery recently. He was banged up throughout the year.

My only hope is this will eventually all balance out. Meanwhile Coach Des has us in a good spot to get thru all the balancing out as one of the top G5 teams in the country right now.

Hell...their Head Coach might be in the portal after the championship game if Marshall's AD doesn't get his head out of his ass.

Zeon had a quite an up then down season. Started off winning his first three starts, throwing 4 TDs and 1 INT. That third win being vs. #17 Kansas State, in the rain, where he completed all 11 of his pass attempts for 103 and a TD. Also ran for 75 yards and 2 TDs in that "perfect passing" game.

After that game, lost the last three, throwing for 0 TDs and 5 INTs over that stretch.
