We are getting some respect in the polls being ranked around 30th even though SoS is very soft. For the CFP rankings they should go to BCS like computer rankings, get rid of the subjective committee. And I don't disagree with Redtails about Liberty last year running the table with their weak schedule. They made the NY6 bowl with a CFP ranking of #23, SMU (11-2) right on their heels ranked #24 having beaten Tulane in the AAC Championship game. Every season will be different. Imagine this year if we'd had an equal 11-1 record to Boise. Maybe we'd be ranked, but we wouldn't catch Boise even though they played an FCS, too. Thinking since we are in SBC, schedule FCS schools less frequently unless there's no one to fill in. Replace with G5 CUSA/AAC/MWC if possible. I realize that's easier said than done, but we're chasing the top of AAC/MWC-PAC for a future CFP berth. Besides winning 11 or 12 regular season games plus conference championship game, SoS will factor into it most seasons. Its exciting to think about breaking through in the near future.
