This is telling. No matter what locals and the administration may say, the Sunbelt Conference gets no respect from the national voters.

It’s obvious on two fronts. The MWC has 2 teams ahead of UL, AAC 3. Regardless what happens, UL is blocked. However, CUSA has nobody and the MAC gets 1 vote for Miami Ohio/MAC.

11-2 might get more attention. It takes a perfect run for the SBC, MAC and CUSA to have a chance. Boise is just an example of right place, right time.

What’s even more odd…the SBC has been the premier G5 Football League for a few years now. Even today it is just slightly ahead of the American. The MW has been pretty bad for a while now.

Please go take a look at Army’s wins. I’m not calling you out or being dismissive. They’ve literally beaten nobody. I thought UTSA would give them trouble and I was right. Louisiana at least has a “P4” win.
