No one said that. But our peers are able to do it, is the point. If they can, why can't we? So, whether its simply calling and asking or a myriad of other means, the excuse that it can't be done, is BS. At the end of the day, they are scheduling they way they want to schedule. I don't think it's because Maggard is lazy. Doesn't mean we have to like it, but this is the scheduling strategy they're going with. May even be the strategy that Des prefers as well. I like the FCS tune up games, and Id like annually playing a P4 every year, even if it mid to lower tier P4, (like the WF game this year) and a upper tier G5 like the Tulane game this year. I would say it would've been better if instead of that Kennesaw state game, we had played another upper tier G5 this year, but when you consider how down the east SBC division was this year, imagine that same schedule if App, Coastal, and Marshall were as good as they've been the last few years. And add to that, if Southern Miss would not have been down this year also. There was no way to know how things would play out when they made this schedule, but at the time of scheduling, this year would have been one hell of a schedule to play. We may not be at 10 wins and hosting a Conf Championship game. I think its a balancing act in which you don't know how tight the rope will be when you cross it.
