Depends what you consider as a comeback. If you’re older like me, the days of Bo and Toney isn’t happening again. ESPN and NIL slammed that door shut.

Can a flash in the pan stretches of Marty and Jessie happen, maybe.

NIL has enabled programs like us to compete with the “high major” programs.

You can literally go out and spend $500-$800k on 8 players and become relevant. In order to do that you have to have a coach that the area is willing to buy into. We don’t have that.

Who on staff would be the interim coach if he is fired mid-season? I think we can get a lot of good applicants for that position when it opens up. A lot of great tradition to build on and a great facility. We need a better conference while we're at it.
