If I was President of ULM, I would want to get away from the hyphenated name. Only a handful of schools have had successful branding that way, UCLA, UNLV, UTSA come to mind. Change the name back to NLU, but North Louisiana University. They keep the NLU name tradition that brought them an FCS National Championship and would have a unique name for their university. UL Monroe just doesn't give them the name they need. They have already surpassed LA Tech by being in the Sun Belt, now need a name that distinguishes them and separates them from UL and from the impression that they are a satellite of our university. That would also put them (North Louisiana) in great company with other schools with similar names, Southern Cal (SC), South Alabama (USA), Southern Miss (USM), Western Kentucky (WKU), Central Florida (UCF), and East Carolina (ECU). Just a thought. I hope people from UL Monroe read this forum. Of course, our benefit would be sole possession of the University of Louisiana name.
I've thought they should go for James Monroe University (of Louisiana). Right now, IMHO, they look like our side-kicks.
His play calling got us to 10 wins....Imagine if you actually knew much of anything about offensive play calling, you could coach The RPCA 6th grade team...jeez us some of you are too damn much...
Well the Hell, 71? You don’t like my 6th grade play calling? You already calling for ouster to somebody else?
