People can (and will) continue the incessant griping about Marlin. Today, UAB simply had better players, and when they finally decided to guard, UL had problems.

It happens. Still think UL will wins its share of conf games (very mediocre league overall it appears early on). But the last 8 mins was tough to watch.

You say UAB had better players. That goes to recruiting and retaining talent. That falls on the head coach. So yes, it is Marlin's fault the program is in the shape it is today.
