I like Coach Dez. I really thought hiring him without a real coaching search was the wrong move, but I hope he continues the trend of this season and makes me eat a lot of my own doubting words.

He’s a legit good dude. I want him to be wildly successful. Absolutely can’t doubt his dedication to the job and our football program.

My feelings exactly. I didn't think it was the right move, then immediately after when we started losing players to Napier at FL, I really thought Napier ____ed us by recommending we hire Dez. He knew players would follow him to FL instead of staying to play for Dez and I think Napier thought he had a strangle hold on local recruiting vs Dez.

Dez is a good coach. I didn't like the hire at the time, but I was wrong. He is the right guy for this program and we are on an upward trajectory because of this hire.
