Several years back, I set up my St Cecilia 6 grade girls basketball team with St Leo to play at halftime of the UL girls game. We only had about 10 players apiece, but with their parents, grandparents, and friends, we pulled in an additional 80 to 100 people. A lot for a UL girls game.

Let me guess. Safety issues??? Fights between the 2. College boys taking high school girls home? That’s the answer the school would give. Because all they think about is liability. That’s why nothing gets done here. That’s the main reason “we can’t do that here”

Yes lol, just because you can pay players for NIL, does not erase recruiting violations.

I believe the rule is, you can't give something to a recruit that is not available at large. If you offer it to everybody at the school, I don't think that is a violation.

You may be right. But think about it..our students have free tickets and they dont show up but HS kids will move the needle

Not saying there would be 1000 of each at the first game but it could build over time. Throw them free stuff. Tee shirts, toys, hand out pizza slices. If they have fun and it’s free. They( high schoolers) could tag along with their parents to the game and go sit with friends in the HS section.
