Several years back, I set up my St Cecilia 6 grade girls basketball team with St Leo to play at halftime of the UL girls game. We only had about 10 players apiece, but with their parents, grandparents, and friends, we pulled in an additional 80 to 100 people. A lot for a UL girls game.

Not saying there would be 1000 of each at the first game but it could build over time. Throw them free stuff. Tee shirts, toys, hand out pizza slices. If they have fun and it’s free. They( high schoolers) could tag along with their parents to the game and go sit with friends in the HS section.
