Unfortunately almost every lunch is expensive these days. Fast food right now is around $12-$15

Real bbq is not cheap to make in a restaurant setting unfortunately.

They did move away from bbq about a year ago- haven't been there since the switch to check it out. May try to before they close

    Sorry to see them go

Agree it is an expensive lunch, but it’s not outside the bounds of what typically is charged at these low and slow BBQ places these days. Blanchard’s BBQ on Pinhook, another place that does the low and slow Central TX style:

$19 for a one meat plate
$21.50 for a two meat plate

    Blanchard's is legit bbq.
They run out of bbq on a daily basis. Its too expensive to make more than they expect to sell daily

If you're not there by 12:15 to 12:30 you're probably SOL

I’m spoiled having Fege’s BBQ downstairs from my office. But luckily the prices keep me from eating it every day, because no way would that be good for me!

    Blanchard's ehh?

Gotta have to check 'em out

Tried Tchoup's BBQ a couple times, but didn't feel like the quality justified the price. I've had Blanchard's as well, and they knocked it out of the park for a local spot.

That was my feelings as well, but when we went back not too long ago, they had there totally revamped menu. It was really good. We had never gone on there patio which looks very nice too. I am sorry it didn't work out.

Favorite place. Not just for bar b q. It's one of my favorites in Lafayette. Have not had a bad meal there. Ever.

I hope they keep Adopted Dog open. I like that place. We need more UL supporting businesses like that.

Have yet to visit the brewery, but my parents like it. Apparently make a pretty darn good burger there.

Sad that it’s closing. Hope Adopted Dog Brewery stays open. Both of their restaurants are very good. It’s a tough business to
Be in as far as a locally owned restaurant especially with restaurants opening on every corner now.
