    I don’t know man.
The last time I went for lunch (no drinks), the bill for my brother and I was like $40+.

    That’s an expensive lunch.

This really makes me sad. It's a really cool place to drink at the bar or patio, and the food has gotten better every time we went.
The new menu is fantastic, devilled eggs appetizer and ribeye is what I got a couple weeks ago and was one of the best meals I've had in a while.
Gonna have to make it back over there a couple more times before they close

Lets just make sure we support the heck out of Adopted Dog.

Unfortunately almost every lunch is expensive these days. Fast food right now is around $12-$15

I think I've heard of MidCity.

Tchoup's does not ring a bell

ps found 1 reference in a RaginDave post.

Real bbq is not cheap to make in a restaurant setting unfortunately.

They did move away from bbq about a year ago- haven't been there since the switch to check it out. May try to before they close

    Sorry to see them go

Agree it is an expensive lunch, but it’s not outside the bounds of what typically is charged at these low and slow BBQ places these days. Blanchard’s BBQ on Pinhook, another place that does the low and slow Central TX style:

$19 for a one meat plate
$21.50 for a two meat plate

    Blanchard's is legit bbq.
They run out of bbq on a daily basis. Its too expensive to make more than they expect to sell daily

If you're not there by 12:15 to 12:30 you're probably SOL

I’m spoiled having Fege’s BBQ downstairs from my office. But luckily the prices keep me from eating it every day, because no way would that be good for me!

    Blanchard's ehh?

Gotta have to check 'em out

Tried Tchoup's BBQ a couple times, but didn't feel like the quality justified the price. I've had Blanchard's as well, and they knocked it out of the park for a local spot.

That was my feelings as well, but when we went back not too long ago, they had there totally revamped menu. It was really good. We had never gone on there patio which looks very nice too. I am sorry it didn't work out.
