Morehouse College also wears Jordan Brand Basketball uniforms. The Howard Bison will also join the UNC Tarheels, UCLA Bruins, Michigan Wolverines, Georgetown Hoyas, Marquette Golden Eagles, San Diego State Aztecs, Houston Cougars, Oklahoma Sooners and Florida Gators.
    It’s very exclusive.

Dude…we still have Bobby on the payroll. You know damn well we’re going to be loyal to Adidas because we get a little more $$$.

I’m sure they will just extend the contract with Adidas but I sure wish they’d look elsewhere as Adidas has been a let down in my opinion. It seems our players in all sports are wearing old uniforms each year with one new uniform release per sport. Our football players play majority of the season on turf fields with 1-2 games on grass and the stripes have been stained, or torn the last two seasons. Just not a good look especially on national tv.

Majority of the Sunbelt schools also use Adidas with the exception of a few with Nike and Coastal and GA St with UA.

What’s been most upsetting is the lack of available team apparel for the fans. And quite frankly the adidas apparel that is available is very generic and typically doesn’t even have our correct fonts when spelling out our names. While we were with Russel it was much easier obtaining apparel.

You’re right. We will go with the brand that gives us the best deal, and I’m guessing that will be Adidas.

We just aren’t in a financial position to throw away hundreds of thousands for the privilege of wearing a different logo. This is especially true now that Jeff Landry and friends are planning to make massive cuts to higher ed funding.

As long as our softball and baseball uniforms remain the same.
I think the odds of us being a Jordan school are lower than the odds of us getting a Big XII invite. They basically select the schools they want, and they are ultra-picky about who they select.

Yes I’m not ignorant to the fact they hand select the brands they want to represent.

TBH, massive cuts are coming if Santa Clause was governor. Same thing with the feds, abet they’re in ~ a 10 year window.

Regardless of party, when there’s a party change at the top, the leaving party always leaves a minefield of intentional problems. In Louisiana, protectionism always leave higher ed in a bind.
